Delivery Policy

Thank you for visiting and or shopping at Crimson Shack. Following are the term and conditions that constitutes our delivery policy.

Delivery Areas and Delivery Times Estimates

We deliver anywhere in South Africa through our Courier partner, however price will differ depending on the areas which will also effect the time it takes for delivery.

Delivery to major towns and cities are charged at standard rates listed below under rates.

Delivery to outlying and rural areas may attract a surcharge, which is difficult to assign rates to such areas, therefore if you reside in an outlying or rural area, please contact at us info@crimsonshack.com for a quotation

We have an “estimate” of 1-10 working days. It can be as quick as 1 day or as long as 10 days depending on the area of delivery

Delivery delays

Although rare, but unfortunately delays can happen due to unforeseen circumstances which may include but not limited to:

  • Error in recording the address
  • Address not found on Google maps
  • Bad street naming and house numbering
  • Bad communication with Courier
  • Theft and hijacking
  • High risk areas
  • Protest action and riots
  • Act of nature (floods, wildfires etc.)

 

If a customer does not answer the call from the courier, the courier will reschedule the delivery up to 3 times, at which point Crimson Shack will be notified of the failed delivery, Crimson Shack will then try to contact the customer by means of a phone call, message or email. If no communication is achieved the package will be returned to Crimson Shack, the client will then be responsible to pay extra for delivery.

If an order takes longer than the estimated delivery time, no claims can be made towards Crimson Shack as deliveries are outsourced to a third party, however late delivery is not grounds for refund or cancellation of already shipped orders. If you have not received your delivery within the estimated timelines or you are in any way concerned about the current location of your parcel and ETA of delivery, please bring this to our attention and we will do our utmost to assist you.

10g – 5Kg                              R70.00 Nationwide (major towns and cities)

5.1Kg – 10Kg                        R95.00 Nationwide (major towns and cities)

10.1 – 25Kg                         R125.00 Nationwide (major towns and cities)

Collection                            No charge

Own courier                       You may opt to use your own courier by choosing “Collection” on checkout and then informing us by email and quoting your order number

NB: Our courier partners can only deliver to street addresses and they do not deliver to embassies, malls, chain stores, plots, farms, mines and to some outlying towns and townships.

If you require delivery to any of the above places, please contact us as we can arrange an alternate delivery option through PAXI or PUDO Locker

Deliveries are scheduled for Mondays to Fridays, 8am to 5pm – there are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays.

If you are at a business address during working hours then please register these details for your courier delivery, unless someone is at home to sign for your parcel.

Paxi Pricing and delivery timelines:

Paxi is powered by PEP, which allows anyone to send parcels from any PEP store or Shoe City to any other PEP store or Shoe City store in the country, the recipient will then have to collect from the store they nominated

  • Price per standard bag: 450mm x 370mm Max 5kg

7 – 9 business day service: R59.95

3 – 5 business day service: R99.95

  • Price per large bag: 640mm x 510mm Max 10kg

7 – 9 business day service: R89.95

3 – 5 business day service: R119.95
